Its been two hundred years since the life and times of Uzumaki Naruto and the fearsome Akatsuki. The Shinobi alliance stands as strong as it did all those years ago. Time has healed many wounds left from past generations. As such many clans have seen a resurgence and have been reintegrated into their native villages. The title of Jinchuriki is one of pride. Its a different world than the one from two centuries ago. This world proudly basks in the light that was created by its predecessors.
However where there is light there will always be darkness for neither can exist without the other. Unlike traditional darkness that lies on the borders of light, these shadows come from within. they lie in wait, biding their time for an opportunity to swallow the world in an obsidian abyss. But for now all is well as ninja go about their daily lives concerned more with upcoming celebrations rather than the evils that lurk off in the distance.
And so our tale begins with eager young ninja hoping to become immortalized in the same stories they've heard throughout their lives. Experienced ninja forge the course of history and the corrupt seek to make scary rumors a reality. What will the history books read? You decide on Naruto Enmity.
