Personality: Gohan is a young boy who doesn't like fighting, but when he is forced to fight, fights to protect his family and friends. He is very studious and intellectual, a quality forced upon him by his mother more than anything.
History: Gohan was born alongside his twin sister Videl to Goku and Chi Chi. When he was about three or four, he and Videl was kidnapped by Raditz, who took them back to his Sayin pod and trapped them in there. The twins broke out of the pod during the battle, though only Gohan attacked Raditz, ramming into him with his head. After the battle, Gohan and Videl were taken by Piccolo to train for the arrival of the Sayins. Upon the Sayins arrival, both Gohan and Videl fought, though they were the only survivors outside of Goku and Krillin.
On Namek, the twins, alongside Krillin and Bulma, hunted down the Namekian Dragon Balls. On Namek, Krillin and Gohan had their true powers awakened by the Grand Elder, aiding in their battle with Frieza. During this battle, Goku seemingly sacrificed himself to allow the others to escape, leaving Gohan and Videl to mourn Goku's death.

Roleplay Sample: Gohan was getting more than a little frustrated. Studying was getting to be boring, but he couldn't go outside at all unless he finished his homework. His problem was that he couldn't figure out the problem he was working on. He sighed, wishing he didn't have to study so much, though he knew his mother wanted him to. He just wished it wasn't so boring. He decided to take another attempt at the problem, but suddenly sensed someone near his window.
