Name: Broly
Alias: The Legendary Super Saiyan
Race: Saiyan
Age: Adult, looks about late twenties
Gender: Male
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Appearance:
Personality:
Broly is a fairly simple man, ever since he was able to form actual thought Broly has harbored an innate hatred for those who would seek to control him, the only such successful culprit has been his Father, the man that put Broly through years of what he considers his own personal Hell. As such Broly despises tyranny in essentially all of it's forms. Those who would seek to oppress or control him are often the first to face his wrath closely followed by those who oppress others, while Broly is far from the most compassionate person if given the chance 'set right' those who are putting people in a similar position to what he was in he will more often than not act.
The next on Brolys list hates is quite similar to the above but a far more personal version, Broly absolutely despises the overbearing parents, those who seek to control there child rather than allow them to act of there own accord. This sort of thing can get particularly ugly if Broly witnesses it as it often reminds him of his own childhood, this is more often than not a 'Berserk Button' for Broly.
The last most important trigger for Brolys rage isn't so much a 'thing' its a Person or more as of now simply the name of a person. 'Kakarot' Broly knows practically nothing of the infant known as Kakarot save for vague memories of his early infancy of having heard the name and the affirmation by his father of the existence of said infant. The reason for Brolys hatred is rather.. odd, and to most would seem irrational. Broly despises the memory of baby Kakarots crying, little Kakarot simply would not stop crying for almost the entire duration of there stay in the infant ward on Vegeta together and while normally this wouldent even be something Broly would have remember if he had a normal(even by saiyan standards) childhood. Brolys childhood was far away from such a concept. Kakarots crying effectively acted as an anchor for the control device that Paragus used on him, it was the single most 'traumatic' event in his life prior to it being placed on him and such Broly was plagued by the cries whenever Paragus activated the device.
Broly is not however an engine of pure hatred, while he has many things that set him off and even a relatively short fuse to begin with Broly honestly just wishes to live out his life in freedom away from those who would want to control him, he wants to live a life where he can fight and train whenever he wants and not need to be someones tool for war. Like most saiyans Broly has a innate love for battle and above that because that was when Broly was most free from his fathers control Broly still feels most free when he is in a battle against a powerful opponent.
History:
Broly was raised with a single purpose, to be Paragus' ultimate weapon a warrior of unmatched power that would act as the ultimate deterrent for any potential threats to his plans. As such Broly was raised in an even stricter environment than a normal Saiyan child. He was taught everything Paragus knew of combat as quickly as possible while likewise Paragus did everything in his power to keep Broly firmly under his command.
Broly however was prone to fits of unbridled anger as a youth and in these fits any control Paragus had was utterly lost and so a restrain device was designed giving Paragus control over Broly’s emotional state and overall power output.
While the device did as it was intended in that it restrained Broly its actual effects did not remove the feelings that Broly had, rather they suppressed them causing Broly to quietly seethe in his rage over his existence for years while under his father’s command. His only release for these bottled up emotions coming up when Paragus would unleash him upon a unsuspecting planet.
These moments were what would define Broly later; as the 'canon' Broly would go on to turn his hate for his father into a hatred for all of existence, and in his seething began to plot the destruction of the universe at his hands. In this time however Broly took a slightly different turn, he enjoyed these moments not for the destruction he could cause, but for the freedom they gave him. The ability to destroy and vent his rage was simply a very enjoyable side benefit.
On one of the missions that require Broly to unleash his FULL power, a miracle of sorts happened for Broly, Paragus got cocky, he allowed Broly full reign of his power so that the planet he was sent to destroy would be eliminated faster but in doing so he allowed Broly to cross a threshold from which the device that bound him could not restrain.
'Legendary' Broly then proceeded to do as he was ordered, and annihilated the planet within mere moments of being unleashed. And as usual Broly made his move to attack his father, something that was little more than par for the course when allowed to enter this form but even in his near blind rage he noted something different about this time, the familiar pull of the device on his power did not come. And so Broly proceeded to lay waste to the small army his father had built up of warriors who shared Paragus' mindset.
And when the smoke cleared all that remained was Broly and Paragus, and as much as Broly wanted to throttle his father for all he had done, a part of him just refused to let monster that Paragus had created rule him and so Broly ripped the control device from his forehead and reverted to his base form. He gave a brief 'speech' to his father about why he chose not to kill him and that it would be in the man’s best interest to simply never seen him out again.
And then he left.
Broly stole one of the remaining space pods and set it to take him to a random very far away planet, one where he could perhaps try and restart things where he wouldn’t need to be the weapon his father had created but instead perhaps just fight because he enjoyed the thrill of battle. The sad fact that the rest of the Saiyan race happened to be dead leaving him 'alone' was Broly’s last thoughts as he drifted off to a stasis-sleep for the long ride to the planet his ship was destined for.
Powers and Techniques:
Energy Shield: While most of Broly’s repertoire of techniques consists of entirely offense Broly has at least a single defensive technique in the Energy Shield, a technique developed on an instinctual level by Broly in his childhood, the Shield is incredibly durable provided Broly concentrates on it.
Eraser Cannon: Brolys primary technique, similar in power to the Galic Gun and Kamehameha Broly can create a sphere of energy that is capable of incredibly damage, he often hurls it like a normal ball and it can be controlled to a certain extent once it is launched though mostly just to shift its directions
Explosive Wave: For Broly the explosive wave was created as an extension of the Energy Shield, it was created to turn the power of his ultimate defensive technique into an incredibly devastating offensive technique as all of the power used to create the shield would be unleashed all around him, quite good for getting people away from melee or when facing many opponents,
Telekinesis: Broly possess a albeit untrained level of psychic power, he is as of yet only really capable of using it in a manner similar to the 'force choke' performed by Darth Vader and Broly doesn’t even entirely realize the nature of this power as he was never taught about psychic powers or that he might have potential to use such techniques.
Gigantic Meteor: Broly’s ultimate technique, this technique begins off as a deceptively small orb of energy that moves at an incredible pace, one the orb hits something solid however it’s true nature is revealed and it rapidly expands exploding out to proportions and levels of power similar to the Spirit Bomb, Death Ball, or Supernova techniques.
Other Techniques:
Basic Ki Control
Flight
Restrained Super Saiyan Transformation
Super Saiyan Transformation
Legendary Super Saiyan Transformation

He laughed as he looked down upon what he had done, mountains toppled, buildings crumbled, space ships scrapped, none but for a single soul had survived his long awaited wrath. And if he'd had to be honest with himself he had never expected to get his vengeance, he had honestly expected to continue living out his life just as he always had. Under the thumb of his Father with but a few hours of freedom every now and then when the man needed to make an example for his enemies. While he'd never given it much thought the real and true possibility that had his father not slipped up there was a chance that once he'd 'helped' his father accomplish his goals that he would have never again even gotten those brief hours.
The thought sent a chill down his now over sized spine. This form was... powerful, perhaps even TOO powerful, even now he could barely restrain himself enough to think, the power of this form drove his blood wiled willed him to crush and destroy to seek out that one last life signature.. and to snuff it out. But no, he had plans for that particular life, that one was special. And with a cruel smirk the golden behemoth flew through the carnage he had created. So many warriors had lost there lives at his hands today, just hours ago he'd annihilated some far off planet, the people hadn't seemed like a threat and he'd even regretted ascending to his full power as he knew that once he let loose there wouldn't be any survivors.
It had only been afterwards when he'd made his routine attack on his father that he'd noticed that he couldn't hear Kakarots wailing, could not feel the pull on his emotions and his power that came with the device trying tor render him helpless. And then the carnage had begun.
He didn't regret a single death of his fathers forces, no those men and women had been just like his father, however unlike his father they held no significance to him. And so they had died. Most likely received a fairly quick death to which his 'legendary' mindset detested, it wanted them to burn, to suffer. He didn't actually care one way or another.
Landing before the shaking mass of man that was his father he smirked a cruel smirk once again, the man who had been so proud of all he had done, reduced to a whimpering mess. It was wondrous sight to both of his mindsets. The legendary mind wanted to burn his fathers skin slowly from feet to face and then leave him on the smoldering crater that had been his greatest achievement. he on the other hand had another plan entirely.
Using all the control he could exert he grasped the golden headband, the control mechanism that had been the bane of his existence for years. And crushed it letting the gold and circuitry fall onto his father. The sensation seemed to jarr the man out of his fear for but a moment as he sprung up from his prone position to his feet almost instantaneously. He chuckled as he had to admit that despite everything at least his father was a true warrior.
Once the man noticed exactly who had jarred him back to his senses any will to fight left the man instantly. He wasn't entirely surprised, it HAD been his release from the control that had caused the man's near fear-coma to begin with. "Hello Father." He said, the cruel angry tone of he legendary form causing his father to step back in worry. With a deep breath he released the legendary power, an action that took far more out of him that he was certain his Father was aware of as the man would have likely taken a chance at attacking had he any clue.
he reverted down to the form that was far more akin to his true self, this form however was simply... 'better' it was weaker than the Legendary form but by far allowed for 'better' thought. His legendary form only wanted to kill to cause pain and to destroy. Right now all he wanted to do was talk. "Do not worry, you will live Father, you aren't worthy of the next life. You sought to use your own blood as a weapon, and im certain you saw me as little more than that. And for that I despise your existence. But... if I am to even try to become better than what you wanted me to be. I need restraint. And so you will live. Never seek me out again, because if I DO ever see you again. You will die, slowly and painfully. I will allow the power you enjoyed to set upon others so much to have its way with your death. And it will not be quick.
He watched as the look of realization spread across his Fathers face, he then noted his fathers 'control' arm twitch, and a devious glint in the mans eyes. Evidently fear had overridden sense in his Father and he'd not noticed the severe lack of the control headpiece. And as to prove just how serious he was his hand shot out and snatched up the arm that bore the second part of the control device. He slowly tightened his grip until he felt every bone splinter beneath his grasp as his fathers screams echoed far and wide for nobody to hear.
Once his father had passed out from the pain, he set out to find one of the few ships he had left unscathed in his attack, he knew he'd had sense enough during the 'battle' to leave at least one of the higher grade pods intact as he'd had no intention of staying here. Now he would have his chance at freedom.
