Personality:
Gero is not known for his kindness. He's known as one of the most intelligent men in the Red Ribbon Army. He's cold, tactical, and arrogant. He see people as either 1 of 2 things; ants or test subjects. Long before he took part in self bio engineering, Gero seemed to to void of any real emotions. This, lack of emotions, allow the scientist to make decisions based on logic and data instead of emotionally driven ones.

He has kidnapped people to use in his expirements on more than one occasion. How and what became of these people are all unknown. He doesn't care what methods he uses to get his desired outcome. And if an expirement fails, he blames the subject or improper materials- his data can never be wrong. He is too advance for that.

If there was one thing Dr. Gero hates more than the taste of failue, is the man that introduced him to it. As a child, Goku, annihilated the faction that Gero was the lead scientist on. All of his expirements, all of his hard work, research, and data. Gone. Some of those inventions was going to revolutionize the world. But the, at the time, boy stood in his way of progress. And no one stands in his way.

There's not too many stronger opponents in the world, but those that are stronger wouldn't know. Gero hides intimidation very well, except for desperate times.

History:
Gero had always distanced himself away from his peers. This was due to Gero's feeling of superiority over the young, weak minded, children. He even found the company of his parents dull.

It would be no surprise that when he became of age, he enlisted into the Red Ribbon Army as a scientist. It was there, among some of the greatest minds on the planet, that Gero's genius began to flourish with his vision of humans that would be the ultimate soldiers. They would have powers that some would only dream of, and fewer would obtain. Some of these skills ranged from super strength, to firing lasers out of your arms. He would achieve this by bio-engineering and turn the subject into a cyborg.

However, one child thwarted his plans by effectively dismantling the syndicate. Left with no way of funding his expirements, not to mention lack of test subjects, the evil scientist went underground.

He moved what was left of his equipment to a secret facility in the moutains he had begun to build in anticipation of such event. The only help he brought was a computer AI he had designed and helped him store his data and, secretly, steal information. He resorted to kidnapping people who wouldn't be missed and used them in his research. Subject after subject, they all failed him. So he decided to start from scratch and build robots similar looking to humans. His supercomputer took majority control of this project while Gero began the creation of another assistant. He was named Android 19 and was the prototype to the models 16, 17, and 18.

When he began production on the models 17 and 18, two vagabonds,Gero had already transformed himself into a pseudo cyborg by crafting a body similar to his own and placing his brain in a protective shell on top of his head. He could not find a suitable subject for his 16 model, so he built him from scratch. He had programmed all of his models with only one purpose:

To find and destroy the warrior known as Son Goku. Eliminate anyone that gets in your way.

Powers and Techniques:
Android body
Being made completely of inorganic material, Gero uses an unlimited source of inorganic ki to power his system. This type of ki cannot be sensed or trace by known methods. He also has a scouter built into his eyes to gauge the strength of his opponents and collect data and send it back to his computer. On his hands are a device that allows him to steal organic energy and store it in his system.

Eye Lasers
Dr. Gero is able to fire eye lasers from his pupils.

Flight
Gero and his androids are able to use their ki to propel themselves off the ground in a similar fashion as other ki users.

Ki Manipulation
Dr. Gero is able to manipulate and fire ki blasts from his hands.

Photon Wave
The strongest attack in his arsenal. It's a massive release of stored up energy into a single blast from the palm of his hands. It's power varies on the target he absorbed power from.

Roleplay Sample:

In the darkest hours of the night, the mountains were at their spookiest. The howls of the only inhabitants filled the usually quiet night with an eeriness that is only experienced with hauntings. The moon shined a dim red this particular night, casting a slight red hue on the surroundings, creating a bad night for any hunter foolish enough to try the wilderness at this hour.

Slowly, the trees began to rustle. The leaves shook gently, and then violently, as a hunter sprang from the forest with a face that has looked Death in the eyes. Desperately he ran for his life never looking back at his chasers, who were fast on his heels. They were so close, he would swear he actually felt one bit at his calf.

As he raced for his life, shouting for salvation, he tripped and tumbled down a mountain way, landing hard on his back. Although he was in pain, and unsure of his condition, he took solace in knowing that his would be predators would not take the chance to come after him. They had watched him, howled, and raced back the way they came.

In hysteria, he began to chuckle threw the pain in his back and the throbbing in his head. Thats all he remembered before blacking out.

And that's when he found him. Dr. Gero, former head scientist of the Red Ribbon Army, now turned Android. He stared down at the unconscious fool with cold, calculating, eyes. On the surface he seemed in fine condition but Gero looked further and scanned his body for injuries, finding several broken bones, including an arm, a cracked skull, and a broken back, several ruptures and a pierced lung. Gero narrowed his gaze. This boy wouldn't make past threw the night.

Upon making his final diagnosis, his pale assistant walked up beside him. "His vitals are rapidly decreasing." He restated the doctors analysis out loud. "What will you do with him?" The robot asked curiously.

"Nothing, 19." Gero stated coldly and turned his back on the man. "It's of no concern to us." He didn't have time to deal with people who weren't even remotely compatible with the most basic human augmentations. "He's expendable. Do with him as you please." He ordered coldly. Arms locked behind his back, Gero proceeded back to his lab. Tonight's experiment had been a failure. The mechanism in the subjects legs did not improve his running speed as he had predicted. Therefore, he was useless.

"Once you're done with him, bring only what is necessary back to the lab for further testing." 19 bowed obediantly and turned to the unconscious man. He grinned evilly at the man. Although he didn't have a lot, his life energy belonged to 19.
