Personality: Purin was programmed to act just like a human child. She is always smiling or giggling at something, and views everything she sees with wide eyed curiosity. The child is highly optimistic and is rarely ever in a bad mood. Though, she tends to be a bit on the naïve side. Purin has been known to blindly trust anyone she comes across until she sees or hears something conflicting about what she’s been told. Even then, she often comes up with some sort of reason how whatever conflict she’ witnessed somehow fits in with what she’s been told by whoever she happens to be following at the moment.
Purin views almost everything as a game. When it all boils down to it, really all she wants to do is have fun. That may mean eating lots of sweets, having a friendly spar with someone, or finding a new friend to play with. The child is absolutely obsessed with desserts. The quickest way to get on her good side is to give her something sugary to munch on. Purin is of two minds when it comes to fighting. On the one hand, it’s lots of fun to spar with someone. On the other hand, she doesn’t like hurting people. It really just depends on how close her opponent’s abilities match her own. There are always exceptions for really bad people though...
History: Long before the Red Ribbon Army first began to scour the land for the Dragonballs, one of their many targets of interest was a scientist with a small laboratory on the outskirts of a quaint little town up north. This particular scientist had devoted herself to the study of robotics and android creation. Her name was Kinomi Satou. The Red Ribbon Army wanted access to her research. Dr. Satou refused to submit to them. They had a horrible reputation, and she wanted absolutely no part of it.
One day, she began to hear of sightings of the army from the townsfolk. She feared that they were coming for her. Dr. Satou had to protect her precious research! She decided that the best way to do so was to pack up all of her work and flee from her laboratory. She gathered up what she could, destroyed what she couldn’t bring with her, and left the sleepy town to fend for itself against the Red Ribbon Army. Surely the army was only after her, and would leave the rest of the townsfolk alone once they realized she was no longer there, right? That’s what she assured herself anyway. Somewhere in the back of her mind she knew that she was wrong though.
Just because Dr. Satou couldn’t return to her old laboratory, it didn’t mean she didn’t have anywhere to turn. She hadn’t been the only scientist in her family. Her grandfather once had an underground research facility in the middle of a lush jungle. It had been abandoned for quite some time now, and Dr. Satou figured it would make an excellent base of operations away from the watchful eye of the Red Ribbon Army.
There was just one little problem. What if they found her and came after her again? She may not be able to get away after slipping away from them once already. Perhaps it was time to apply her research and get to work on her first android. Kinomi had wanted to perfect her experiments before creating a full android, but she felt that it may be necessary to protect herself and her work. She wasn’t a fighter by any means. It was decided. Dr. Satou would create a bodyguard.
Only one question remained. What would this be like? The possibilities were endless! Kinomi didn’t want to construct the typical muscle man you normally saw working as a body guard. No, that would be far too conspicuous, not to mention uncreative. Dr. Satou spent days just trying to think up a concept for her creation before being struck with an idea. She had always wanted a child, but had been far too busy in her pursuit of knowledge to actually settle down and start a family. She could simply make a child!
Dr. Satou spent years constructing this android, all the while remaining undetected by the Red Ribbon Army. Finally after pouring innumerable hours into her project, Purin was created. The scientist was quite pleased with her work. Not only was this pint-sized android battleworthy, she also acted as a lab assistant to Dr. Satou. Not only that, but Purin would also never grow old. She would never have to worry about her ‘little girl’ growing up and leaving like she had heard so many mothers grieve about.
It didn’t take Dr. Satou long to grow attached to her synthetic daughter. Due to the way her personality matrix had been designed, Purin acted more like a little girl than an android. The child seemed to enjoy cleaning up around the lab and cooking meals for the two of them. After all, those were common chores for a daughter, right? She even got to help Kinomi out on a couple of experiments when she was lucky!
One afternoon, Dr. Satou sent Purin out into the jungle to gather up a few plant specimens for an experiment she was working on. Purin didn’t get to venture out of the laboratory very often. She was always so excited when she did. There were lots of pretty plant and animals to look at up on the surface. It was nothing like the sterile environment that she was created in.
Purin was in for quite the surprise when she finally returned to the lab with the samples Kinomi had asked for. The laboratory had been ransacked! The little android looked all over for her creator, but there was no sign of her anywhere! There wasn’t even a note. Who had done this? She didn’t know, but she was absolutely devastated once she realized that she was alone now. She had never been alone before.
Not sure of what else to do, Purin decided to enter a state of hibernation in hopes that Dr. Satou would have returned by the time she woke up. So she slept for years and years. Would Dr. Satou really be back when the android once again opened her eyes? Would she find out what happened to her home? Would the world have changed at all? The answers would only be found upon Purin’s awakening.

Powers and Techniques:
- Macaron Strike - A simple three-hit combo. Purin rushes her opponent and delivers a right hand punch. This is immediately followed by a left hand punch to the same spot. The combo is finished off with a high kick, also aimed at the same spot.
- Tapioca Barrage - Purin raised her arm and forces some of her ki into the air. The ki floats high above her in the form of a large number of small, glowing shards. These shards hang in the air for a few moments before darting toward the target in full force. Not a very damaging attack, but it can be executed fairly quickly.
- Éclair Shield - Purin places both hands in front of her and creates a five foot circular shield in front of her. The shield doesn't last long, and it stays in place so it's no good if she needs to move away.
- Honey Burst - A powerful attack that’s generally saved as a last resort. Purin expends whatever remaining energy she has left to create a burst of ki that starts from her body and expands outward, engulfing herself and anyone close enough. The size and power of the blast all depends on how much energy she has left, but it normally knocks her out cold for roughly an hour.
