Someone once said that they only use what works. Ask yourself, is it really working? I see the same members but with different characters. There is no problem with that, but wouldn't you want to see new rp'ers come into the site? Wouldn't you want to see more people who love to rp come into the site?

In my opinion, the site wards off many ppl. I know the current group feels the site is fine the way it is and im not saying it isn't. I'm just saying that it doesn't have what the majority of rp'ers I've come across and questioned truly want in an rp they join. Cannon is amazing its what we love, but the rules and things of that nature just wards them off a bit. I have sent personal friends who rp to this site and they disagreed with certain things and it led to them not joining. I've also directed some of the ppl I've met rping in other sites who say this isn't there cup of tea.

I'm not trying to make anyone angry or hurt feelings or piss anyone off. I'm just asking that you one day look at how many ACTUAL members you have and to look at the ppl who have registered and never returned. When you do this don't count ppl with separate accounts for diff characters they possess. I just want to see this rp prosper and I feel that with the current setting that it shy's ppl away.

I'm not saying that I could do a better job because I can't. I just, idk my thoughts are everywhere right now. Maybe when they are more gather I could post it again down the line. Again I'm not trying to make anyone upset and I truly apologize if I have. I hope this rp site prosper and that everyone have fun.

What annoys me the most is that no where in your post did you specify what is wrong with the forum. What rules are people looking for in a forum? What cannon issues are they having? The forum just started 2 months ago so I don't exactly understand what you expect. All new forums have their problems or issues.

The way to make a forum grow is by posting. If you don't post, a forum will not grow.

I mean you are one of the members that has not done anything to contribute to this forum. I'm not trying to sound mean, but honestly, a new forum needs time to grow. You just state "people don't like this" or "people don't like that" doesn't help the issue at all.

If you aren't coming back, then that is fine. If this forum dies, then that is fine too. However, your comments were of no use especially when you haven't done any posting yourself. I've been on many forums myself so I don't get where you are going with this.

The main part of a forum is posting. If no one posts, there is no forum.

To be honest, I don’t see what the big deal is about member count. Yes we allow for multiple characters, but most of them either are posting or are waiting on a post. It is quality over quantity that should be looked for, and there are a few that show they can handle multiple characters so we let them. Like Chi Chi said, the main thing is that they post, and people have been.

It is unfortunate that those you have tried to recruit here find the plot and rules limiting, but this is what we have chosen to do and we plan to stick with it at least for the members that are already here. Some members have even changed their applications/made a different character on request by staff so they fit the plot, as you have as well. Putting that extra effort does show that they intend to stick around and RP, and from what I have seen they all are in at least in one group topic at the moment.

We are still continuing to advertise the forum when we can, and please do understand that this takes some time. The site is relatively new (at around two months) unlike most other RPGs that may have had more time to grow. New things are being worked on and will be added to make the RPG even better.

And in hindsight, no one has left the RPG due to those limitations you say yet. You are our first, lol. But you are welcome to come back and resume RPing with your characters when you do come back to your liking. Good luck with what you plan on doing until then.

Well, personally, I believe a farewell topic, such as this, should be pleasant. ^_^ I really don't like to rant on on subjects that could be put bluntly, so I'll do as such.

Thanks for you insight and hopefully, if you return, you could divulge more information then you have so that we, mostly the staff and excluding me, may allow this site to prosper. You will be missed, I hope, and the doors will always be open if you decide to return.

...I'd rather you not return. To be very blunt I have no patience for people whom complain without offering a change. There are boards on the site that allow for just that, suggestions on how to make the site better or more accessible to those around us. All I read was whining and crying without any real effort. This shows me you were probably destined to leave anyway.

Well I see I have rubbed some the wrong way . As I said before my ideas and what have you are not yet organized which is why there wasn't much to my post. I have no problem with effort as I have said that life has finally caught up with me. That reason and mostly that reason alone is why I decided to leave. I was not in anyway bashing the rp because I think it's a great rp site. I just see the potential in a site like this. I know things will be added and taken out as the admins see fit in order to improve the rp experience and maintain a decent plot.

Now on to the whining and crying I have so called done. When I typed that up I wasn't whining nor crying. It was a voice of passion in my mind when I typed those words. I love to rp. I admit I'm not the best but I still love it and take part in it when possible. I wasn't complaining and saying I hate it or anything. I was saying that it could be better, that I want it to be better, and I believe eventually it will be better. That is all. I did not mean to make anyone upset or anything and I admit that it may come off as complaining but I assure its only my love and passion of role playing. I blame my impatience for perfection . One the destined to leave in the first place bit, yeah I was never DESTINED to leave. Certain things began to happen which led to this. I wasn't absent because I was just being lazy and didn't want to put in any effort. This post was me basically stating that it could be better......just with unorganized thoughts and rambling no harm done.

Again, I wish you all the best, I wish this rp a healthy lifespan, and I hope you all continue to have fun doing what you love/like to do.

Side note to Mist: Mist I respect your opinion as do I everyone else's opinion. That is your right to wish me never to return as a rp'er and a human being. I do feel that the run Simba and never return thing is a bit unnecessary, but it's how you feel and I respect that. However, I will return one day. Just have to get myself sorted out. The fact that you seem perfectly fine to not come here anymore just tells me that you aren't serious about this place at all. This second post is the same as the first and offers no suggestions as to how we could improve on what we've done.

Again you get the wrong impression. Life will always take priority and I am too positive a person to get upset or whatever emotion you seem to be looking for, and of course I offer no suggestions because I have been informed a time ago of the direction that is going to be taken. I don't understand why you paint this image of me being completely careless of rping and being apart of a rp site. Whatever the reason may be I pretty sure it's a decent one. Again I will reiterate that any suggestions that I may have will not be helpful in any way with the set direction of the saga/plot and site.

If you take a look you will see that Frigid states that with the current direction there is no need for such things. No, that is not all I was referring to. That topic is meant to be an example. Just letting you know so you won't shoot back yet another seemingly bothered reply about is that it or something.*

Better yet I'll just throw something I thought of out there right now since it seems that you think I don't care or wouldn't wanna help. My biggest suggestion would be to let the members control the saga. Now I don't mean like now with the interactions and things of that nature. I mean laying the entire foundation for a nice lengthened saga with the admins help of course, but have the ball entirely in your hands. I just think that it would be interesting and fun to see who would be the villain and hero of the saga. Could you imagine Krilling being the hero in the end doing battle with the baddest villain(at that time) who is.........Chichi or something. Yes I know that both are good guys, but thats another thing. Free reign with the cannons.

Yes I know that you can debate that we do have free reign with the cannons in some way, shape, or form. Then again the way we used these characters are so cliched. Goku = Good guy. Frieza = Bad Guy. I mean come on, wouldn't it be interesting and weird if Frieza was the kind warrior and Goku was this monster of a person? I know this seems a bit weird and maybe even stupid to most if not all of you, but Goku would have been a monster if it wasn't for his injury. I do understand that even with free reign that most people will stick to the cliche, but just having the option to change at the drop of a dime is exciting enough.Idk, but things like that get me excited and pumped. To shape the cannons as the members see fit. To shape the saga's and have the admins recognize it as the big thing. Of course admins would have to do their jobs with organizing and stuff, but hopefully you see where I'm getting at.

Those are the kinds of suggestion I have......well had, and like I stated before they have no need of being mentioned as the direction of the site has been decided a time ago. Again this is not the reason I am leaving, I am leaving because of life. Even with the direction and rules the way they are now I'll gladly rp. I was just saying that would be awesome. I saw no reason in mentioning things like this as again, The direction is obvious and has been set. My suggestion are only for an rp site that's still trying to get its direction figured out this one is not.

Hopefully that will suffice some of you. If it doesn't then I truly apologize. I will come back because I want to comeback. I just don't have the time now. Alright, so you posted a suggestion. Let me tell you something about free reign of cannon characters. There is some freedom on this site because if you notice, Bulma can participate in battles and, she does have a battle suit. Chichi can participate in battles and get stronger. There is freedom with cannon, however, not the type of freedom that you are suggesting. Freedom as in completely making up random things where Goku, who is actually pure hearted, turn evil is like extremely strange. I've been on that type of forum where there is freedom with cannons, and it turns into complete chaotic mess. There is no organization.

The last RP I was on when Cannons were allowed to do anything/everything every character that ended up joining the site had to be like Chichi's son/daughter. It is really ridicilous. I have to admit I did some chaotic things as well with Chichi, but those are just reasons I hate the "freedom" type of rp. There were like 5 different Gokus at the end of that rp too.

Cannons are cannons for a reason. Down the line it's possible that characters can go evil or turn good or have a certain destiny. If you want complete freedom of a character, that's why you make a custom character. I don't see why you are complaining anyway because you were Zorn. There is not much history on Zorn so you could do what you wanted with him. There are side stories all throughout the site. I mean I had Chichi go up into space and learn about herself. The main saga is just to give the site some consistancy and to allow members to join together.

Another thing that bothers me is that if you weren't planning on staying, why bother asking me to make you a ssj picture of zorn? I mean that is just complete, utter waste of my time. You talk about your time. What about mine? You wasted my time with that picture.

I am not saying there is anything wrong with the site. However, I think this just comes down to you being lazy or having an extremely busy life.

Again, it seems quite harsh. *sigh* I really don't want to help a side that has everyone against him, but it seems interesting playing the devil advocate. He did mention that he knows that the term freedom could be loosely argued with, of course not in those exact words, and I somewhat agree with him. Of course I agree with Chichi as well. But if there were such an event that makes it plausible, such as a dragonball wish to make Goku evil, or the a "break that character" moment, I do believe it to be possible that one can go from Pure heart, to evil, it just would be extremely difficult, including how it was set up by Akira.

I also assume it's save to say that life isn't quite as predictable as one might think. For example, how demanding school might be, that causes someone to quit for a prolong amount of time. I myself have been through such things. Of course, it's a pity that you wasted your time, but he did say he was planning on returning, so in the long run, your efforts wasn't truly wasted.

Mist, you being a mod should know this rule. "2. No arguing in the C Box. Treat everyone with the respect that you would ask for yourself! We are all friends here!" Of course it does say Cbox, but I must admit that I assume that he meant it not only for the cbox, but for the site in general. I believe if you have nothing good to say, you shouldn't say it. Of course being a lurker, I have no right to argue such things.

Videl, how I see this will come back to bite me, I do say your argument is quite unreasonable. Just because he mentioned that he sees stuff he doesn't like, or stuff wrong with the site, or something else (doesn't really care what he said), you shouldn't be demanding on what it is. Think about it rationally, what right does a member have to the change of a site? He could offer suggestions, but if staff don't like it, it will just be shotdown. Of course not trying just shows, as Chichi says, him being lazy, or lack of courage. I would just say that he truly believes that the site is okay as it is, thus no suggestion is needed, or he can't think of any.

I myself have suggestions for the site, but I choose not to offer then because I'm confident that you guys will find a better way, see it eventually, or make it work.

I hope I didn't step on any toes or came out as illogical. I really don't double read what I wrote, so I don't really care for any errors I made. Just hope none take it as an insult.
