Goku and Chi Chi were still sleeping in their bed, for they had needed to rest because they had a long night. As for Bardock, even though he had a long night, he had to get up bright and early in the morning. Something was on his mind and he needed to talk to Chi Chi, he paced back in forth in his room waiting for the right time to leave and knock on their bedroom door. Sure, he could have just left now but he wasn't sure if he should bother them this early. He knew that they needed the rest, and he respected that. He didn't want to take them away from their sleep, so he just decided to wait.
It bothered him to know that something horrible was happening, but he couldn't quite figure out why it was happening. It had to do with what made Chi Chi pregnant, wait that's right...she didn't know she was pregnant did she? Looks like she was going to be finding out soon, all she needed was to be tested to see if she was pregnant but before she did, he wanted to walk with her to the medical facility portion of the palace so he could talk to her about what's been going on. Maybe if she knew what had taken place, when she had gotten herself tested and seen for herself that she was pregnant she wouldn't freak out. She would understand that what Bardock was about to tell her was not only true but it was something that should not be taken lightly.
He couldn't wait any longer so he rushed out of his room and made his way toward Goku and Chi Chi's room. He got there quicker than usual because he was rushing to get there, because they could not waste time. He had to make sure that she got tested and he had to make sure that this problem got taken care of immediately because if he didn't, bad things will happen. He had no idea that Goku already had talked to her about getting herself tested, he was going to make sure that she did anyways because that was the first thing that needed to be taken care of. Once that is out of the way, he can go on to try to take care of the life risking problem that he hadn't told anyone about yet. He wasn't going to allow Chi Chi to come with him when he leaves to handle the issue, it would be far to dangerous to allow her to come.
Whenever he had got to the door, he was thinking of an excuse to why she couldn't come with him to handle the problem. However, he couldn't think of any so he would just have to tell her the truth. He knocked on the door lightly but no one answered, so he just stood at the door and spoke to Chi Chi telepathically. "Chi Chi, I'm outside your door waiting for you. We don't have time to waste, I have something important to talk to you about. Meanwhile, we need to get you to the medical room quick so that you can get a legitimate pregnancy test." he said truthfully. He paused for a moment to give her a second to take all of that in before continuing. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to rush you it's just something is going on right now....I'll explain as on the way." he said in a serious tone. He wasn't trying to rush her, but they really did have to go now because, this was very serious.

Goku would not let go of her, his intentions was to hold onto her until he felt it was a good time to let go. By the looks of it, Goku didn't think that it was that time just yet. All he wanted to do right now was sleep and hold her, and she knew that because his grasp was his grip was tight. He could feel her head press into his chest with a bit more pressure than before, but he didn't mind. He actually loved the feeling of her laying on him, it let him know that she trusted him completely.
"I'm sorry but this cannot wait.." he said in a medium tone. He didn't mean to bother her, but this was an emergency. Even though she said 'not now', he knew that it was either now or never. He needed to tell her what was happening, but he'd never get the chance to if she never came out of the room. He tried to be as patient as possible with her though because he knew that she couldn't have any stress on her especially with her pregnancy. It wasn't just that, it was also the fact that he knew she had been through a lot lately.
It was then that she mentioned that Kakarot wouldn't let go of her. What were they doing in there? All he knew was that if he didn't go in there, his son may never stop what he's doing and then Chi Chi would never be able to find out what she needed to find out in time for him to leave and take care of this problem. "Alright, I'm coming in." he said telepathically to Chi Chi before rushing into the room. When Bardock got to them, he tried to move his son's arm only to find out that he was naked. "Wow, I did not need to see that...." he said to himself out loud shaking his head. He wanted to hurry up and get out of that room, so he used his arm strength to pry Kakarot's arm off of Chi Chi so that she could escape her husband's grip. He knew that she didn't want to leave his grip either, but this was something important that had to be done.
Usually, Bardock would wait for the person to get ready before going somewhere but he didn't care right now. They were in a rush, and besides there would be no harm done because she had clothes on anyway. He grabbed Chi Chi's hand and rushed out of the door with her, trying to get to the medical room in good timing. He didn't go too fast because he knew she was pregnant, but they had to at least have a good amount of speed. "Sorry, I didn't mean to rush you like that.....Something is going on, and I think you need to hear it." He was serious, which would explain why when he was trying to talk to her, he wasn't smiling nor was he blinking at all.
When they got to the medical room, he looked for a female medical assistant who looked like she was very capable of doing the job. "Alright, I need you to check her and see if she's pregnant. You're gonna need to do it quick because, we don't have much time." He hoped that this would be done in good timing, if not then he may have to leave throughout the middle of this. Someone had to put a stop to whatever it was that was happening out there, and it looked like it was going to be him.
Meanwhile, as he and Chi Chi waited, he decided he was going to tell her what he had needed to tell her all this time. "Alright, well first off if you're test results come out positive I wouldn't be all that surprised if I were you. Something has happened within the paradox and that means anything could happen good or bad if the paradox is disrupted. The paradox is basically a mystical place in the Universe, it basically keeps balance between the living world and the non living world. If the paradox is disrupted, it can go from bringing people back to life to even taking living creatures as well as the rest of the universe at hand and sucking it up, ending all life as we know it. I'm afraid that I'm going to have to go in there.....After we get the test results, I've got to go. You stay here and take care of Kakarot, and If I don't come back....I'm sorry. This may take my life, but I'm willing to risk it if it will save all of you. I know I don't say this too much to anyone but I do love you and Kakarot, and the same goes for my Grandchildren....Even though sometimes I don't look like it, I do have a heart....I may be mean sounding or just straight up blunt, but I do care.......Some may not know it, but I do know what love is. I just never good at knowing how to show it...." he said lightly. He wasn't about to go just yet, but he wanted to tell him where he stood in all of this, because no one was going to stop him from doing what he knew had to be done. He had hoped that she wouldn't try to go with him, because he didn't think it would be too safe for her to go with him. There's no telling if someone who gets brought into the dwelling of the paradox if it is possible to be brought back out, and alive.
"Damn it, hurry this procedure up! Didn't I tell you that I didn't have much time?" he yelled out to medical assistant who was doing the job. Bardock was being very impatient and seemed to not be having a problem with speaking his mind to the medical assistant who seemed to be taking her time. "I want to know, does it take you this long to do everything? We've been waiting for five minutes...." He was not in a good mood, on top of everything that was going on, he had to deal with this medical assistant working as slow as an elderly woman. Bardock was about to say 'Hurry up, Grandma' but he kept quiet. Sure, he was a man to speak his mind but he wasn't an asshole.

He listened to what she had to say, but once he heard her ask if this was because of some bet he had no choice but to speak out. He did not need her thinking that he would do something as selfish and stupid as that, she needed to know the truth. "You do know where my visions come from don't you? I could have sworn that I told you, but I guess I can tell you again. During my battle on Planet Kanassa, I was cursed and was given the ability to see into the future by a Kanassan. That is why I know a lot of things before either of you know, there is no bet. I didn't think that you of all people would think that I would make a bet over something like this....I knew that you were pregnant because I seen your child in my vision, I knew about the paradox situation that's going on now because I seen it in a vision as well. If it wasn't for these visions, I wouldn't be able to have known your name as well as the name you call my son when I first met you. I know about more than anyone knows, but sometimes it is more of a curse than anything. I get to see visions of suffering, death, and other things that I do not wish to see. So, no I do not spy or anything like that....that's not my style. I'm more so the type to just leave people alone, after all, I'm not used to being around people. Usually things I find out that aren't a life and death situation I'd usually just keep to myself so that I'm not preventing anyone from living their life like one would normally. Besides, if Kakarot tried to make a silly bet behind your back, I'd knock some sense into him." When Bardock said that, he had a serious look on his face. He meant it, he wasn't scared of anyone and he was pretty sure that even they knew that. He wouldn't let anyone disrespect Chi Chi like that, and he thought she of all people would know that. Not only that, but Kakarot didn't have the heart to do something that would hurt his wife. Goku wasn't the type who would even risk doing something like that.
He shook his head in disagreement when he heard her say that she was coming with him, he would not allow it. "No, I will not risk it. Your life is far to precious to put in danger. I am older than both you and Kakarot, you both still have a long life ahead of you....I cannot allow you to put your life on the line." However, when he heard her say that afterward he was dead from her, he didn't take it as a joke because usually when someone said something like that to him they were serious. "By the way, I'm not worried about it.....I'm used to it." he said lightly before turning his head the other way before looking at the woman who was doing the procedure. "Well, did you get an answer yet? We don't have all day.." He didn't want to sound like a jerk but they were really in a hurry.
Chi Chi wasn't finished talking with him so he listened to what she had to say. This time she was talking about him meeting his grandchildren and being able to keep Goku from being naked all the time. "I know, but the thing is....If I don't do this, there won't be a Gohan, Videl, Kakarot, you, or anyone...or anything for that matter. I have to do this, this is just something that has to be done." After finishing that last sentence, he let her finish what she was trying to say before he even continued.
He listened to what she had to say about his son and her sore chest situation. He didn't say anything on that, all he could do was smile. It was either Goku couldn't resist Chi Chi so he kind of went in and started grabbing anyway or it was just another pregnancy symptom. He didn't know what it was exactly because he wasn't there but all he knew was that she was pregnant. His visions were always accurate, he just hoped that he had a vision soon showing the medical assistant hurrying up, giving them an answer.

When he was being yelled at, he had a bland facial expression and just listened to what she had to say. However, he had something to say also which is why he waited for her to finish what she had to say before he decided to respond. "No one ever said you weren't independent. I've never demanded anything from you, nor did Kakarot. If anything, Kakarot has been letting you fight your own battles and make your own decisions. I know where you are coming from and I completely understand, but remember I didn't try to keep you here because I didn't believe in you, I did it because you and your husband are young. You should be focusing on enjoying life, training, and raising your family....not dealing with death. There is more to the paradox then you know, once being brought it there is no telling if there is even a way out. I know I can't change your decision, but you should at least know where I stand." he said in a medium tone. He wasn't upset or anything, he just wanted her to understand that he wasn't trying to demand anything from anyone. He was only trying to do what he felt was the best way to go about things, he knew he couldn't change her decision but he at least hope she understood where he was coming from.
"It's not that I think I'm alone, I've just been used to that sort of thing. All I wanted was for you to know that you two are young, you have a lot of life to live. As for myself, I'm not quite sure what I have left in the tanks....I guess I'll just have to live it out and see for myself." he said with a short smile. He knew that he wasn't that old, because he still looked really young, exactly like Goku actually. The only thing that was different is Bardock looked really rugged, roughed out, and as if he's been through hell and back over and over again. Not to mention, the scar doesn't make him look any better either. In a strange way, people found his his scar to be awesome looking but he didn't know why.
When the woman said that Chi Chi was pregnant, he was happy that she finally had an answer for them. However, when she brought him into it acting as if he was the father, he had to explain things to her bluntly. "The child is not mine, she is my daughter in law not my wife." he said in a serious tone so that she'd get the point of what exactly he meant. One thing was for sure, he did enjoy seeing that Chi Chi was happy. Now he knew what Kakarot feels all the time whenever he sees her smile. "Congratulations, Chi Chi." he said followed by a short nod.
"Yes, I remember. How could I forget?" he said with a smile. He was about to say that he did in fact want to see his grandchildren too but before he could, she embraced him with a hug. Even though he had barely gotten an embrace like this, he was starting to get used to Chi Chi's. She has hugged him a couple times now so far, and she has shown him time and time again that he means a lot to her. Even with his badass attitude, she could still see right through that and into his heart. As their embrace continued, they were warped unexpectedly to this unknown hollow looking place. As Bardock looked around, he could see time frames everywhere. It didn't matter whether he looked to the left, to the right, upward, downward on the floor, that's all that could be seen. Behind all of the time frames was this purpleish atmosphere. Within every time frame you can see different things happening in them, some had to do with things that happened in the past, some were happening in the present, and some were even things that haven't even happened yet but would happen in the near or far future. "Here we are...." he said lightly. He walked slowly with her, trying to make sure that neither of them fell through the ground. Luckily, they were safe right there, there was no way to fall through unless they went to the other side where there is nothing. If they were to do so, they'd fall deep into the abyss and will never be heard of again. Huge explosions can be heard coming from somewhere, but it couldn't be seen where it was coming from.
Randomly, two spirits had shown up. He didn't know what it was at first, because it started off as a bright light. Then out of nowhere, the spirits seemed to be forming into a body. After taking the form of their own physical bodies, it seemed as if one of them looked very familiar to him. Hold on, it couldn't be who he thought it was....could it? Bardock shook his head because he couldn't believe it. there was another woman standing beside of her, who gave off the same purity feeling that the other one had given off. He remained quiet, he wanted to know what exactly was going on before he said or did anything.

His wife hadn't changed since the last time he saw her, she was completely gorgeous. When Bardock heard her speak, he knew that it had to be true. But how, how could this be? There was no way she could be standing before him now, he couldn't believe it. He would not believe it, he didn't know how it was possible. She told him that it had been a long time since they last locked eyes with each other, and she was correct. It has been more than a while, it felt like it had been forever since he had last seen her. She called him handsome and even complimented him, and while hearing her voice and compliments made him feel good, he still had very much a hard time taking all of this in. He took a step back with widened eyes, and he shook his head quickly to try to shake it off.
This was all too much for him to grasp, he couldn't quite understand what was happening or why they were there. What really bothered him was the fact that he didn't see this coming. Ever since he was given the ability to see into the future, he could see anything anything and everything that was going to happen from that point on. However, he hadn't had a vision of his wife and Chi Chi's mother and their encounter here at all. He wasn't feeling very much at ease at all but, he still could not take his eyes off of his wife. He was feeling uneasy because everything that had been happening was so unclear from the start.
It made him feel good to know that Chi Chi was experiencing something she'd never forget but it tortured Bardock inside to see his wife right there and not at home where he wanted her to be. Was this really even her? Could it be that someone was trying to toy with his emotions because if that was the case, he would kill whomever created this idea in their stupid brain. However, as she spoke softly and lovingly he knew that this was no cruel joke. It was her, because not only could he feel it deep down, but no one could mimic her pure heart and and talk like she could. He wanted to say something, but he couldn't. He was just too phased to even say a word. Yes, the Legend known as Bardock was frozen. If anyone else were here to see this, they might actually understand why.
Yes, Bardock was a tough man and would take on the most fierce warriors without question but his wife was able to have him speechless by just her mere presence alone. He wanted to look over at Chi Chi and her mother to show his respect but his eyes were taken by the one whom had bared both of his children. However, whenever he built up enough strength to do so, he did look at Chi Chi and then her mother. He noticed that her mother had looked just like her, but not only that he had just realized something. Chi Chi's mother and his wife had given of a very similar feeling, but he didn't quite understand what it was until his had told him. She explained to him that he had always treated her like a Goddess and that she now was one, literally. That phased him even more, he was married to....a Goddess?
Was he the only one hearing this, or could Chi Chi hear everything that was going on too? Well, Chi Chi did have a happy look on her face, and she did look at the both of them as if she was understanding everything that was being said, so she had to have heard it. What got him curious was how Chi Chi was able to take all of this in so easily, because Bardock wasn't taking this as easy as one would expect for someone as mighty as the Legend. He also recalled just a moment ago when she had mentioned that they both had died on the same day, in which he had found quite ironic. He could tell just by looking at Chi Chi's mother that she must have been a Goddess too, not only because of the similar presence to his wife that she had given off but also because there was something about her that made him just know. He didn't quite know what it was, but it was very similar to one of the feelings that his wife had been giving off. Pyua must of not been kidding when she said that she couldn't speak much, because she was still not speaking. He could tell by her actions that she loved her daughter very much, he could also tell that she had a perfect heart, just like his wife. He could tell that his wife and Chi Chi's mother meant a lot to each other, they were both laughing and smiling.
It was now that Chi Chi for the first time got to hear her mother's voice. Even though she spoke with a raspy tone, he could also hear the softness of her voice coming out as she spoke to her only daughter. He could tell that it made her day to be able to finally get to meet her mother and hear her voice. She got the full package, and even in front of her mother Chi Chi started crying. It wasn't long until Chi Chi followed her mother's example by smiling like her mother had been doing this entire time. Even he had been phased by Chi Chi's encounter with her mother, and Chi Chi's reactions to her mother were priceless. One thing was for sure, he could tell that Chi Chi and her mother were a lot alike in a lot of ways.
His eyes once again locked with his wife's and again, he wouldn't blink. He had frozen once again just by her mere presence. It was then that she told them that time was running out, and just when he thought she was completely serious this time she said something that brought a smile on his face. It seemed that if they had won, he'd have to buying drinks and taking her out to dinner. It really didn't surprise him that even now, she could remain so cheery. In fact, it looked as if all three women were very happy. As for Bardock, he was still trying to register everything that had been happening in his head. He still couldn't believe that his loving now Goddess wife was standing before him. She then told him to smile a bit more, and that was something he had missed hearing all this time. Back then, he hadn't smiled much because of so many things happening at once, yet his wife was always there to tell him that needed to smile more and loosen up a little. He watched as his wife had complimented Chi Chi, he could tell that she also meant it when she said she loved everyone because she was showing her love for Chi Chi right now. Finally, without any further delay, Bardock had managed to build up enough strength to say something. He would wanted to say something earlier but he was just too frozen to say anything, move, or even blink.
"Sure thing, you can always count on me." he said in a lightly yet in a serious tone so that they knew that he meant what came out of his mouth. There was a tenderness in his voice that all three of the women there would probably easily be able to point out. After saying only two words, he got quiet once again and decided to wait to see if they had anything else to say. However, before it was too late..he wanted to at least hold her one last time. He reached his arms out to hold his wife in hopes that he could hold her because he knew that after this, he may never get the chance to hold his beautiful wife ever again. Sure, she was a Goddess now, but even if she wasn't..to him she always would be.

He could feel his arms wrap around her small, delicate body. He wasn't the only one, for she had her arms wrapped around him as well. He had never felt more complete in his entire life than he did now, it had been so long since he had her in his arms. All he could do is think back into the past of how many memories they've had together. Even though Bardock's life was pretty rough, Pyua was one person who knew how to make his life all better. She didn't even have to say a word or anything to make him happy, her presence alone worked just as well.
When she spoke about why he was speechless, his face turned red a little bit. He hadn't expected her to come out and say all of that, but he wasn't surprised either because he knew her personality all too well. Pyua never held anything in her head, whatever she thought would also come out of her mouth. Sure, Bardock didn't deal with saying much about any topic to anyone because he usually just stays to himself, but she was the complete opposite. She didn't hesitate to say that if she was alive they'd be having more children right about now.
"I see you haven't changed, you're still as perfect as the day that I met you." he said with a smile as he held his wife in his arms. Usually, he did not smile but as he held his wife in his arms for the first time in such a long time, he couldn't hide his happiness. As he looked into his Goddess wife's beautiful eyes, he couldn't help but smile an obviously cheerful smile. This was a side of Bardock that not many people have seen because they are so used to seeing Bardock having an annoyed or pissed off facial expression. Well, that's usually because he really is annoyed by something, either that, or something really did piss him off.
When she said that his son and Chi Chi weren't done having children, he nodded in agreement. They probably weren't done having children, they're already going at a good pace so, who's to say that they won't have anymore? It is very possible that they could have another, or maybe even two more. Then out of nowhere, he heard his wife say she was sexy right in front of everyone. He smiled and looked into her eyes before leaning his head in to kiss her on the lips. "That, you are!" he said with a smile. It wasn't long until she had said that it was time for her to take her leave. Before she did, however, he could feel his lips being touched once again.
Bardock didn't want to say goodbye, it tore him apart to see her go. However, before they both disappeared he managed to say something to Chi Chi's mother, giving her the recognition that she deserved. "You have a spectacular daughter, she really is such a gem. Now, I see where she gets it from." he said in a soft tone before he finished it off by saying something to his wife. "Pyua, I hope we see each other again. You are a great mother, a great wife....If only Kakarot knew just how special you are!" he said with a tender tone in his voice. It was right after he said his last words that they disappeared, and as much as it hurt Bardock to see his wife gone, he had to keep going. He looked over at Chi Chi to make sure that she was alright, and then nodded. He knew exactly what it was time for, and he was sure that Chi Chi knew too. "Alright, let's go Chi Chi! I say we go head on!" he said, going forward in the area. It was hard to tell where they were going, it seemed as if their path looked, well, endless. It was then that he noticed a shadow was flying by then. It kept disappearing and reappearing, he hoped that he wasn't the only one who could see it. "Did you see that?" he asked. If she did, then they may be in trouble but Bardock knew they had to be ready for anything, so being prepared for battle was just one of those things.
