Appearance:
Videl's physique is delicate and slender, despite being a tough fighter. Videl has had four different hairstyles. At her introduction to the series, she had low pigtails, but she then cut her hair short soon after; at the end of Dragon Ball Z, her hair reaches down to her cheeks. In Dragon Ball GT, her hair reaches her hips and she has it in a braid. In her youth, she usually wore a white shirt with tight spandex pants and gold hair clips. In this RP she appears as she does in the picture above.
Personality:
Videl is a very determined and tough individual that does not shy away from a fight. In this RP, since she is the daughter of Goku and Chi Chi, she is seen to be a lot like her mother in some ways, such as her fighting ability and capability at taking care of herself, however unlike Chi Chi, Videl has not and will not go on a quest to find herself the husband of her dreams. It is not yet clear in this universe her opinions on such matters. What is certain however is that behind the strong exterior lies a shy and delicate individual.
History:
The Videl from this universe is different to that of the canon DBZ universe. She is not the daughter of Hercule Satan but in fact the daughter of Goku and Chi Chi. Due to her age in the canon series, Videl is therefore the twin sister of Gohan.
Her history therefore coincides with that of Gohan and the rest of her family. Upon Radtiz's arrival on earth, Videl was captured along with Gohan and imprisoned inside the saiyan pod with her brother before he headbutted Raditz out of anger. At this point in time Videl had not yet shown the same potential as Gohan however it was still there. Upon returning to her mother with Gohan she became rather quiet for a short time since Goku was now gone. She would often wander off when she had been asked to study with her brother and at one time was discovered in the woods near their home standing over a dinosaur which had attacked her. She was crying and afraid and could not recall what just happened but evidently she had displayed the same power and resilience as her twin brother.
After Goku's death she left Chi Chi along with Gohan to train with Piccolo. She experienced the same training as her brother in the run up to the saiyan arrival on earth. During that battle she assisted Gohan as a kind of double-team. Whilst she survived the battle, Piccolo, Chiaotzu, Yamcha and Tien all perished, but her father Goku managed to return from the dead.
After banishing Nappa and Vegeta from Earth, Videl accompanied Krillin, Gohan and Bulma on their quest to find the Dragonballs on the planet Namek. This quest then became increasingly difficult when Frieza and his soldiers got involved. Videl, Gohan, Krillin and Vegeta waged a long war with Frieza's army before Piccolo and Goku arrived on the planet. Before Guru died, Videl had her potential unlocked along with Dende, Gohan and Krillin. After defeating the Ginyu Force, Goku engaged in a fierce battle with Frieza in which Videl and her brother could only watch on. Before he sacrificed himself to save the universe from Frieza's evil, Goku told Krillin and the others to take his children and leave the planet before it was too late. As Namek exploded later on, Videl and Gohan mourned the apparent death of their father yet again.
The Videl in this RP however is 14 years old. She wishes to gain the power of a super saiyan for herself. Although other Z Fighters have gained the ability, such as Goku it is not yet proven that female saiyans have reached this height of power before. Up until now Videl feels as though her presence has gone unnoticed and through sheer determination she feels ready to help change the present in order to save and preserve the future.

Energy Barrier - With this technique, the user can create a shield around themselves which can withstand many attacks as long as the person has enough Ki to supply. An example of when this was used is when Gohan creates one to protect himself, Piccolo and Krillin from getting sucked into the Dead Zone.

Kamehameha - The signature attack of Dragonball. We first see it performed by Master Roshi, to put out the fire on Mt. Paozu, unfortunately Roshi puts too much power in and blows the mountain away! The attack is charged with cupped hands behind the back, then brought to the front with the arms outstretched, and fired.

Renzoku Energy Dan - A machine gun KI attack, used by pretty much anyone who knows how to form balls or beams of energy. It is fairly powerful, especially if the defender is caught off guard, as many beams can be fired home, and the ones that hit have more power than the last. It is good as a distraction tactic too, firing a few of them before charging up a really big attack to finish it off. The disadvantage is that this attack can take its toll on the attacker, due to the large energy drain.

Solar Flare - This attack is one of the most useful in the series. The user puts the hands up to the face and shouts "TAYOKEN" or "SOLAR FLARE", this causes the sun's rays to be amplified and reflected into the opponent's eyes, thus blinding them. This has been used many times with success. E.G: Tenshinhan against Goku, Goku against Tenshinhan, Goku against Vegeta, Krillin against Frieza and Cell against Piccolo.

Kakusan Yuudou Kikou Ha - This involves the attacker firing many Kikou Ha's at their opponent which are made easy to avoid on purpose. The attacker makes these Kikou Ha's then wait behind the opponent, making sure the opponent is surrounded. With their opponent trapped the attacker makes the Kikou Ha's converge on their opponent causing mass damage.
Roleplay Sample:
Videl sat quietly contemplating the many things that had happened to her and her family throughout her life. It couldn't be normal for a family to function this way, for her father to die and for her to grieve every time he left the mortal world in order to be sent back to the land of the dead. She began to think what her role in all this was meant to be. She had witnessed all of these atrocities happen to her father and her brother and her friends and been powerless to stop it. What had she ever done to contribute? She felt like Gohan was the real prodigy, a real fighter. He had everything, good looks, a smart mind and brilliant power, but what did she have? She wasn't ugly, but she wasn't as brainy as her brother, and neither did she seem as powerful as her brother. Something had to change. Videl curled her fingers into a fist and punched the ground in anger. What made her seem so useless? Was it because Gohan was a boy that he was better able to fight alongside Goku and she was just a girl? Well if it was, Videl was about to prove to the universe once and for all that girls can fight, and girls can win. It must've been the saiyan blood in her or her determination, or perhaps Vegeta's attitude had begun to rub off on her after all this time, but whatever it was was never going to change. She had set her mind to it, and she was determined to become the greatest fighter in the universe.
