Race ideas and more

First allow me to introduce myself. I am Shin, a new member. I know I may not have the right to place input/suggestions seeing as how I just joined, but I hope you permit me to do so.

Races

The races you guys have so far is great. I was just wondering if you planed on adding more. If so then great, but if not please allow me to say what races I feel would be a great addition.

Kaioshins
I think that Kaioshins/kai's would be a good addition. They play decent roles in DBZ. (King Kai and Supreme Kai for example) The only reason I feel this should be added as a race is because there may be those that have plenty ideas for a custom character that is meant to be a kai/kaioshin. Some get discouraged or is under the impression that they wouldn't be allowed if it isn't listed which isn't the case.I'm just saying that some think that way regardless of begin informed otherwise.

Aliens
I'm sure we all can agree that anything not human is an alien, but stating aliens as a race will cover the ones that are unknown or not specified by DBZ or us. (Zarbon, Dadoria, Appule, and Ginyu for example) That will just cover that with ease and also allow more custom characters to have their own racial identity and be different in every aspect of the word.

Quarter Saiyans
Quarter saiyans are the saiyans that are more human than saiyan, but still have incredible power. This race would only really be for well.......people like me. This would be for the people who likes a challenge and like to work hard to achieve power. Quarter saiyans are powerful but are limited to only SSJ. They should be capped at that because of how diluted the saiyan blood is inside of them. They would start off weaker than the full blooded saiyans and the half saiyans, but the pay off of achieving SSJ would level out the playing field for them. This race would only work if people are willing to put in the work in my opinion.

Saibamen
Honestly, I feel saibamen are meant to be henchmen as they were only used for doing the saiyans dirty work. Plus they couldn't really speak actual words. It was always....."Gekekekek ghe" stuff like that. Which if a member had stuck true to what a saibamen was then it would be quite stale. I'm not knocking the idea, I just feel it would be better suited to use them as henchmen.

Transformations

Saiyans
With the great Ape transformation, I feel it shouldn't require a certain power level. The Oozaru form was something all saiyans could do regardless of power level. I feel that as long as they have their tail and the presence of the full moon or artificial moon that Oozaru should be a given. Half saiyans should also be able to use the Oozaru as long as they meet the conditions seeing as how Gohan could turn into a Great Ape when he had his tail.

Now with SSJ. SSJ should be harder for a full blooded saiyan to attain because of the struggles they had to go through to attain such a state. I'm not saying make the required pl a crap load to reach but I feel it should be switched with the requirements of the half saiyan. Which leads me to my next topic. The transformations of the half saiyans should require less to achieve SSJ. They are considered to be the ultimate warriors because of the mixture of Human and saiyan blood. (Besides in the anime, Gohan reached SSJ at a much younger age than his father.) This in turn leads me to quarter saiyans(if added) There requirements would be equal to full blooded saiyans if not take longer due to diluted saiyan blood.

Changelings
With the secong form of the changlings, I feel that there should be no required pl that it should just be a given. That is if it is in fact based off of what was said in another thread that the changelings are able to transform much sooner and is just a transform type race, which I agree. Just a thought.

Techniques
Some techs can be used to replace transformations almost. Depending on how you look at everything. The prime example is Kaioken. Kaioken can increase power level and speed at the cost of draining the holy hell out of the user. I feel that if Kaioken is used in this site that it should also hold a multiplier like the transformations because in a way it is a transformation.

Shops and Zeni

I think it would be nice if the members were allowed ways to earn zeni/cash in order to buy things of use. Things like space pods, training weights, gravity chambers, henchmen like saibamen beans, Senzu beans, scouters, things like that. I understand that you can rp having these thing, but it takes away the fun for some. Some actually enjoy making zeni threads to buy a ship or something for themselves and or IC friends. Just something to think on.

Planet Conquering

I feel that some small and extremely simple planets should be added that members can rule with an iron fist(If they are evil like that). There would be no need to add any sub boards or anything just have a simple board with the planets name if that is manageable to the admins.(Would only add two sub boards if it kept things organized.) Planets like Meat, Konassa. Arlia, Arcose, Alpha, Yardrat, Zoon, and many others would be up for grabs. If you set a prize for capturing said planet like zeni and things of that nature people will be aiming to do so. It could also cause the player to raise armies and so fourth once they have captured a planet. Place a minimum pl requirement on the planet for capturing. It is endless possibilities.
Once someone declares taking over a planet all members should have three days to stand against/fight for the control or freedom of the planet. This of this nature could really improve a DBZ rpg. I'm going to cut this short as to not obliterate the thread with these continuous thoughts.

I apologize if any admin feel it was too soon for me to suggest anything or if they felt I was stepping on their toes somehow. This was and is not my intention. I just feel things of that nature would help bring in new members and also help the rpg. Again, I apologize if I have offending anyone or come off the wrong way. Just wanting to get you all opinions on some of my ideas and to help the site with these ideas if implemented. Thank you.

Thank you, but allow me to inform you that a lot of the suggestions you've made are already on the Race and Transformation list. Like for example if you were to look at the Changeling's racial trait it states that they are natural transformers and automatically get their second transformation. Also, I have seen Saibaman being played quite well on past sites before, not my own of course even though I have had several sites but I'm just saying that I only put what works. If it wouldn't work, I wouldn't add it to the site.

Everything is fine here, as a joining member you have a right to give us suggestions. Please do not see as my criticism as being harsh, it is just my way of being firm lol.

Kaioshins: As I have pointed out in your joining application, the RPG is set at the beginning of the Android Saga so at this point characters and races from the Buu Saga onwards have not been discovered and simply do not fit yet. However they will be okay by the time the storyline reaches it (Buu Saga in this instance), this would also apply for demons like Dabura and quarter Saiyans.

Aliens: Aliens should already be on the races as we have accepted some already, they cover characters/custom races just like you pointed out.

Quarter Saiyans: Though the concept is okay in general, it pretty much impossible at when the RPG is set (where hybrids like Gohan and Videl are just young teens). However to me it seems redundant as hybrids already give quite the challenge compared to Saiyans, quarter Saiyans could be classified as hybrids in a general sense for this RPG. One could say they can be from the future, however we will be putting a firm no on that unless it is explained especially well and not obviously seen as a good excuse.

Saiyan Trans: I agree that there shouldn’t be a PL requirement for Great Ape and that it should also apply for hybrids with tails so that will be taken care of and added thank you. However with the Super Saiyan transformations, I believe they are fine the way they are. How the RPG interprets this is the less Saiyan blood you have, the harder it is to gain the Super Saiyan levels. Gohan received a lot more training which was more intense and with stronger training partners (like SSJ Goku) to achieve his Super Saiyan form in comparison to Goku himself.

Changeling Trans: Like with Great Ape, good job pointing that out, that will be fixed.

Techs: The currents moves list is just a generic list where people could choose their starting techs from, however these will be updated/improved and categorised at a later date. Kaioken is indeed like a trans and will be implemented as such when we get to it.

Shops and Zeni, Planet Conquering: While this suggestion has been raised before, staff has decided that we will not be having such a system with the direction we wish the RPG to take. We do not intend to go much further than power level when it comes to technical details. The same can be said for planet conquering at this stage, though the suggestions are appreciated and we will keep them in mind in the future.
