Gohan's Discovery (Part 2 of Is Gohan Studying?)

Who was Gohan's father? She had never seen him before, but by the way Gohan spoke highly of his father his father must have been strong. It's not like it bothered her anyway because once she was finished with Gohan, she would attack his father as well. Revenge was part of her plan. It was usually not her idea of fun to be killing random strangers, but Gohan brought this upon himself.

Gohan continued on with his speech of how he was of pure heart. She did not believe it for a second. When he mentioned Frieza, she shrugged her shoulders. She heard stories of the tyrant Frieza, but had never crossed his path. Either way, Frieza was no concern for her. However, the fact that his father had killed someone brought her attention back to what she was saying before.

{What makes him any different from me? I kill thieves, murderers, and weaklings that would do much worse if they had the chance. You have the same blood running from your veins. There is no pure heart in your body. If you have to kill, you will just like you want to do with me.} She prepared for herself any sudden attack from Gohan. Meanwhile, she pictured in her mind the destruction she had caused to the city. The anger that Gohan displayed before had to be controlled. She would only use the citizens as a last means of defense. His anger somehow elevated his energy at levels she could not compete with.

Launch and Master Roshi had entered in the house. For the past couple of minutes, they had been trying to revive Chichi from her unconsciousness. Her eyes fluttered open after a few drops of cool water hit her forehead. She sat up to look around at the scenery around her. She remembered everything even when she had knocked out.

Her eyes glanced at Master Roshi who appeared to be scratched and dirty, but okay. Launch, however, had a worried look upon her face. Chichi, not wanting to worry either one of them, stood up onto her feet as best as she could. She was able to move around just fine. There was one person who was missing from the picture. It was Gohan.


"Where is my son?" Chichi asked a bit worried that someone may have happened to him.

Master Roshi and Launch looked at each other. Master Roshi nodded at Launch to tell Chichi the truth.

Launch: He went to fight off that woman that came to this island. The one who attacked us. She looked pretty mean too.

Chichi's fists clenched in frustration. This is the exact thing she had been worried about. She had left all of them vulnerable because of her current state. Not just that, but now her son was in danger fighting a mysterious woman.


"You tell this now!" Chichi shouted in annoyance. She started to walk towards the door, but Launch insisted that she stay.

Launch: Please Chichi don't go out there. You need to rest.


"How can I just rest when my son is out there? He needs me." Chichi insisted, but was interrupted by Master Roshi. Her eyes narrowed in anger as Master Roshi always butt in at bad times.

Master Roshi: "You don't need to worry about him Chichi. Your son will win. He has his father's instincts and your hidden power. I can't sense the woman's energy signal, but I know if your son is pushed to the limit, he will defeat her. You have to let him grow Chichi even if it is difficult for you to watch."

Chichi put her hand up about to speak to Master Roshi with anger. He had no idea what it was like to be a mother. She thought fora couple of moments of what Roshi had said. In her current state, if she had gone to the battlefield, she could distract her son. It was the last thing she wanted was to be the very weakness of her family that she often feared she was.

All she could say to herself was; {"I believe in you son...don't let me down. You have to do your homework afterwards though..but I know you can win.}
