Gohan continued to eat, almost finishing up the last bit of food. His mother however, was still eating as well. Throughout all the time Gohan has had dinner with his mother, this time she seemed to be eating more than usual. Instead of being concerned like Roshi was, Gohan took this as a positive sign. In his mind, all the training they had done earlier was the cause of her now bigger appetite. If anything, Gohan was proud to see his mother consume much more food than she normally does. This would allow for more caloric and protein intake, allowing the body to access a a fresh batch of energy, as well as more destroyed muscle cells repairing with the protein. As Gohan went through all this in his mind, he really did notice something weird. He was getting a whole lot smarter...seems that all the studying was paying off.
The poke to his ribs from his mother nearly made Gohan choke on his food. He wasn't expecting that, but he knew quite well that it was going to happen.
"May I take one of these rice balls from your plate? You don't mind. Right son?"
It was almost as if his mother was baiting him to talk with his mouth full. Still feeling the light tingling sensation in his ribs, Gohan shut his mouth and smiled, cheeks bulging with food. His mother took a rice ball from Gohan's plate, and Gohan was finishing the rest of the food. Once he was finished, he covered his mouth and let out a muffled burp.
"Heh...Excuse me." Gohan added in an almost embarrassed manner. If he would've let that burp go out loud, he would end up with a hand print smacked right onto his cheek.
"So how far along are you Chichi?"
Of course, Gohan thought Roshi was talking about her food. At the time, he had no idea what Roshi was referring too. His mother however, seemed to have had a different interpretation than Gohan. By her reaction, Gohan could tell it meant something only Roshi would think of with those thoughts of his.
"If you are asking about the food, I am almost finished, but thank you."
"You are just eating more than usual."
"You are a delusional old man Master Roshi. I am allowed to eat aren't I? What is it with men and there allergies to listening. I just had a lot of training and stress this week."
Gohan watched as his mother and Roshi argued. It seemed to be over when his mother got in the final insult on Roshi. Gohan remained silent throughout the whole thing, trying not to make eye contact with his mother as it could possibly set her off on himself. Al though Roshi did deserve some of that, Gohan felt bad for him. Sitting on his chair with folded arms, the reflection of the light on his mother's glass caught his eye. Just as he glanced over, the glass fell and bounced against the table before completely falling over. Water spilled on Gohan's gi. Launch was kind enough to walk over and help Gohan with the mess.
But his Gi was not the worry, his mother was. Gohan worried for her. Something was obviously wrong, and his mother wasn't saying anything. Whatever it was, Gohan had to know about it.
"Mom....are you okay??"

Master Roshi inched closer to Chichi who had now looked as if she had seen a ghost. He was about to touch her shoulder, but Chichi’s reflexes were as sharp as ever. She back hand fisted Roshi and he flew into the wall. Her attention span seemed to be suffering, but when Gohan spoke to her, she snapped out of her trance. She looked over at Gohan who had no idea what was happening. Her son deserved to know, but she did not know if he was ready to hear it.
Master Roshi lay on the ground in a weird anime position. He often got the back hand to everything.
“She can still hit.” Roshi mumbled.
Chichi was contemplating on whether or not she should tell Gohan. Did she really need to burden him more? He was a teenager that trained, studied, and acted mature for his age. Despite this act of maturity, she was unsure if he was ready to listen to what she had to say. It was not just about the dream, but it was about the situation Chichi had currently been dealing with.
“I am fine Gohan.” Her hand patted his head, but she was not okay. Her facial expression had given her away. She did not want to talk to Gohan in front of Master Roshi or anyone else on the island. They had no right to know. Rather then worrying Gohan on the spot, she decided to give him some encouragement. Something that would drive him to be stronger. He now needed to be as strong as possible because he would have a lot riding on his shoulders. Videl would probably have the same burden, but knowing Gohan‘s personality, he would take her news more seriously.
“Gohan. Lets just put your studying to a hold. I want you to train and become as strong as possible kay?” Her fist lightly hit him on the stomach, and she rose to her feet. Right now Gohan had to be strong. She did not know how to give him the news, but the news would change his life as it did hers.
Master Roshi fixed his sunglasses. [this is strange she never lets Gohan put down the books}
“ I want you to be strong as possible. Just don’t become a blond delinquent okay? Promise me you won’t turn into one of those.” Her voice was kind and soothing. Gohan could tell she was talking about the super saiyan transformation. It became apparent that her shouting earlier had something to do with that. Ever since her dream, she had grown to dislike it. Gohan would likely disagree with her, but she did not know that it was his goal to become one. Chichi’s naïve personality about her son had her to think that he would not want to become one because of her wishes. Her son had often listened to her advice.

Gohan watched as Roshi moved in closer and closer. Again, he was trying to make a move on his mother. Looking back at his mother's face, Gohan noticed her quick eyes glancing at Roshi's hand. Gohan knew what was coming next. He just smiled as Roshi's body was sent flying into the nearby wall from his mother's back hand fist. At this point, Gohan wanted to laugh, but there was something more serious going on with his mom. It seemed she was troubled by something. Whatever seemed to be troubling her, had quite the impact. Her facial expression was no longer happy, it was one in which you would only make that face out of witnessing a horrific scene.
“I am fine Gohan.”
It was obvious she wasn't. A pat to the head and a few words won't change the look on her face. Gohan was determined to figure out what it was. His mother was deeply troubled, and Gohan hated seeing her like this. Whenever she had that look on her face, it was if someone had died. Nobody close to them has died as far as Gohan knows, so it must be something else.
“Gohan. Lets just put your studying to a hold. I want you to train and become as strong as possible kay?”
Gohan's eyes grew wide in shock. Something was definitely going on with his mom. She never told him to put his studies aside to train. Gohan never expected those words to ever escape his mother's mouth. Instead of encouraging Gohan like his other intended to, it only made him more worried. But, a slight sense of happiness was there. At this point, Gohan didn't know what he was feeling. He was happy he can train more, but at the same time, he worried for his mother. All this seemed way to weird for comfort.
“ I want you to be strong as possible. Just don’t become a blond delinquent okay? Promise me you won’t turn into one of those.”
Finally, Gohan has realized what was bugging her. It was that super saiyan transformation that his father has managed to obtain. Gohan obtaining the same power his father has was probably the cause of all this. Gohan knew that one day, he would soon manage to become a super saiyan. As for right now, it wasn't a goal, more of thing Gohan would need in times of need. Later on in his life, becoming a super saiyan was bound to happen. The only way his mother would ever be happy with it is if Gohan could show that he was smart, and that a super saiyan transformation doesn't cloud his mind. He knew it didn't make him a delinquent, it was just a matter of showing his mother, that was the problem.
Gohan's outburst earlier was probably the main reason his mother didn't want him to become a super saiyan. She was afraid he wouldn't be able to control it, and become a problem. Gohan nodded, agreeing with his mother. Although he didn't mean it, he wanted to make his mother feel better in any way possible. If anything, her calling a super saiyan a blond delinquent form only motivated Gohan to prove her wrong. When the time comes for Gohan to transform and it will, Gohan will show his mother that a Super Saiyan isn't all that bad.

Like a good son that Gohan was, he did not talk back to his mother or make her feel as if her negative opinion on Goku’s transformation was a bad one. She had a reason for believing that her husband’s transformation could bring trouble in the future. Seeing what she had seen of Gohan earlier, there was a chance he may not have as much control over himself as Goku did. Even then, Goku never explained to her why he had been gone for so long when he went to Yadrat.
In her heart, she felt Goku had left them to be able to control that anger he displayed when turning into the blond delinquent. Her dream frightened her more than ever. Her body was at a different state than normal. It was only a matter of time before Gohan or anyone else friendly with the family would notice her changed. Therefore, there was nothing left for her to do but tell Gohan the truth.
“Gohan….there is something I need to tell you.” Her voice was soft and shy. When she told him that, she remained calm, yet serious She had no idea how Gohan would react. Then she realized that both Roshi and Launch were there. Rather then saying it front of them, she asked both Launch and Roshi to leave the room. Since her outburst with Roshi, Launch and Roshi left Gohan and Chichi alone.
Once they were gone, she exhaled deeply. She had to gather all her thoughts before she could speak and tell Gohan what her motive was behind him training more than studying. She wanted her children to study and have a normal life, but their current situation would put Gohan and Videl in a more stressful environment like it did Chichi. She gave Gohan a moment to prepare for what she was about to talk to him about.
Master Roshi was curious to see what was happening inside. Something was up, and he would find out. However, every time he tried to listen in Launch would pull him back. The turtle too got on his case as they were waiting outside because Chichi had requested.

Gohan remained seated next to his mother. A portion of his gi was still damp from the water spilled on it earlier. The table was a mess, pieces of food everywhere. The cleanest thing out of everything on the table seemed to be Gohan's plate. Gohan left nothing behind, he ate every single last bit of what was on his plate. He grabbed the glass half filled with cool water. The glass had water precipitate on the outside as the inside was freezing cold. The three ice cubes placed in the water were now almost completely melted. Gohan lifted the glass, his fingers feeling the sharpness of freezing cold water. He took a few sips of it before placing it back down.
His mother still had that worried look on her face. At this point, Gohan didn't know what to make of it. His mother acted very strange since after his outburst during their sparring session. If Gohan was the cause behind this, he wouldn't know what to do with himself. If he was the reason his mother was now in a different state of mind, then Gohan would only blame himself for losing control. Thinking all this was partially his fault, Gohan was anxious to hear what his mother had to say. He wanted to hear his mother say it wasn't his fault. He wanted to know that all this wasn;t because of what he did earlier. However, he didn't want to hear what his mother had to say as well. He was scared his mother would tell him that all this was his own fault.
Despite all these thoughts, Gohan nodded, and waited for his mother. She took a few deep breathes. This told Gohan that whatever his mother was about to say, was going to be a big deal. Gohan was anxious to heard, but was worried at the same time. Both Launch and Roshi were asked to leave, another sign that whatever it may be, it could be bad.
"Okay....what is it mom?" Gohan asked in his all so innocent voice. His stomach started to churn. He felt like he did whenever he would get in trouble with his mother for skipping his studies. It was a nervous feeling that always seemed to strike him in his stomach. A funny way the mind and body reacts to such things.

Before Chichi spoke, she noticed that Gohan looked nervous. His nervousness worried her because she did not know how he was going to react to the news. Regardless, she had to tell him because her family needed to be prepared for whatever happened.
"Gohan. ... You have to be stronger and more responsible than ever because...." She looked away for a second to gather the strength to say what she was going to. Once she did, she looked back into Gohan's eyes to let him know that whatever she was going to say that she was serious.
"You are going to be an older brother.....I am going to have a baby." Her voice was barely a whisper. It bothered her that she had done it in such a place rather than their home. There were more concerns on her mind that she had to talk about, but first she wanted to see how Gohan reacted and to listen to any of the questions he may have.
Master Roshi's sunglasses sparkled when Chichi had said what she did. Launch had not realized that Roshi had listened to what CHichi said. {Interesting} Is all Roshi could say, but he started to think of other things as well as she had said that. Either way, he did not barge in just yet.

"You are going to be an older brother.....I am going to have a baby."
This all came as a surprise to Gohan. He had no idea this is what his mother wanted to tell him. At first, Gohan didn't have any reaction out of pure shock. He sat there, no expression on his face, the only thing Gohan was doing at the moment was breathing and blinking. He stared into his mother's eyes, that seemed very worried for an odd reason. Gohan couldn't see why his mother was so secretive and upset with this. She acted as if it was almost a bad thing. The thought of being an older brother intrigued Gohan. He thought of it as something cool rather than something bad or worrisome.
While he did have his sister, Gohan did feel alone at times. His sister would often stay in her room, or being doing whatever girls normally do. Gohan could never hang out with her, especially when the two always end up fighting. Having another edition to the family would be great for Gohan. It gives him someone to take care of, hang out with, and train.
Gohan's blank expression slowly became a smile. Following the smile was a hysterical laughter. All this time, after he worried about his mother and everything that has happened. The one thing she was scared to tell Gohan was that he was going to have a another sibling. Gohan couldn't control his laughter. Tears started to form in his eyes. He was all worried and nervous for nothing. The fact that he was stressing out about a big problem, then getting told he would be an older brother seemed very funny to him.
Finishing up his laughter and wiping the tears from his eyes, Gohan was finally managed to say something.
"That's awesome! Ahaha! Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Gohan asked, still laughing in between words.

The range of emotion that Gohan had on his face worried her. She glanced at him with her black orbed eyes hoping he’d be accepting. However, to her surprise, Gohan took it quite well. She could not help but smile at his excitement. Her smile did not last long though. The momentary happiness she felt disappeared because there was more she had to discuss with him.
“I am glad you are happy son.” Her hand pressed on Gohan’s shoulder to reassure him that she was relieved that he took it lightly. There was more she had to tell him so when he had asked her why she didn’t talk to him sooner, she had to tell him the truth.
“I avoided telling you because I did not want to put anymore stress on your shoulders.” Her voiced was now soft and worrisome.
“Your father, Videl, and yourself have so much stress already by saving the world. I didn’t want to put anymore stress on your shoulders. It is possible that I can become a target. The last thing I want is to put danger upon all of you. I would rather die than let any harm come to our family.” Her hands rested on her lap as she was now sitting in a chair.
“I’m not sure what to do Gohan. As a warrior I am fearless, but as a mother I worry very much. Your father did not have powerful enemies after him when I was pregnant with videl and you like he does now. I don’t want to burden the family.” Her eyes closed because it was hard for her to admit that to her son. It was hard for to admit any type of emotion that showed weakness. However, she had to be fully honest with him in order for him to understand why she avoided telling him anything.

Gohan nodded, agreeing with what his mother had to say. It was apparent that she was worried about having another baby. Gohan listened to his mother as she told him the reason why she seemed to be worried. It was all a matter of being vulnerable to enemies. Gohan has never really seen a pregnant woman before. Seeing his mother in the upcoming months would shock him, as well as fill him in on life facts.
"Don't worry mom! Dad, Videl and I will protect you!" Gohan said in a very confident manner. He still failed to see why his mother was so worried. If anyone tried harming her while she was pregnant, Gohan, Videl and Goku would defend her to the best of their ability.
Gohan rested his hand on his mother's shoulders. She seemed to be worried about this whole pregnancy thing. He fully understood where his mother was getting at. In his mind, Gohan pictured Frieza storming into their house, demanding to kill his pregnant mother, only to get blasted away by both him and his father. Gohan chuckled, his mother had nothing to worry about. No matter what happened or who tried anything, Gohan and the rest of his family would be there to protect her, always.
"Don't worry too much mom. No matter what happens, you can always count on me. Don't forget who dad is either! If anyone tries doing anything, I'm pretty sure they would stand no chance against Dad!" Gohan said trying to cheer his mother up. Gohan's confidence in his father was always the same. He always knew his dad could pull off the impossible. At times where Gohan needed his father the most, he was there. Gohan knew in his heart that is father was one of the strongest fighters in the universe. No matter what they faced, no matter the obstacles he had to go through, his dad managed to pull it all off. Seeing his father transform into a super saiyan brought no worries into Gohan's mind. He knew his dad was powerful, which is why he wasn't scared if someone threatening the planet would show up. He knew his father would be able to take care of it.

Ooc: (Sorry I took long to respond to this one. I must have not seen it for one reason or another)
Gohan was just like his father. He knew how to take a negative situation and make it a positive one. If there was one thing all her family members knew how to do, it was to make someone feel better. She had to smile at how mature her son had become. The fact that he had got taller and older almost brought a tear in her eye. She could remember when he was a small boy in her arms. He always ate a lot and had the power to destroy, but to her he was like any other baby. His heart was pure, and this was something to feel proud of because she had disciplined him well. Her son had grown up so fast too. Soon he would leave the house....this idea of him leaving the house, was not something she wanted for either of them.
Gohan was especially confident in his father. She too knew that Goku was powerful, yet she could still feel a sense of uneasiness in the air.
"How did you grow up so fast?" Chichi's voice was genuine. She did feel proud of her son. As did, Goku and Videl.
Her body language was one of deep in thought. She thought about Gohan's comments. Maybe he was right, and she would be okay.
Meanwhile, Master Roshi had been listening with Launch. Launch must have caught what Chichi had said because tears of joy had come to her face. She was happy because she loved babies. Master Roshi saw her smile and he started to get some perverse ideas.
"Wellll if you really want a baby...." Just as he said that, a blast smacked him straight in the spine. It send him straight into the ocean water.
Launch started to scream as Master Roshi had been taken out. What had just happened? She went to rush over to where he was, but another blast came towards her. It smacked the ground where she was and sent her onto the beach. The blast had knocked her out completely.
Chichi eye's opened wider than usual when she heard screaming. What was going on? Her body had perked up from the energy she felt. Surely, Master Roshi was not paying attention was he? No, the screaming sounded painful and came from Launch.
"What was that son?" Chichi's tone was a worried on. She got onto her feet slowly to investigate the situation. Her facial expression was one of concern. The conversation she had with Gohan left her vulnerable and her mind unclear. She could not sense anything outside that seemed like a threat. The ground started to shake as if there was an earthquake. She managed to keep her balance despite the violent shaking, but whatever was outside was serious because she had trouble picking out Master Roshi's energy. This was no storm.
She got close to the window to look because if she rushed outside, she was sure to get in danger.
Situations like these are what Chichi was talking about with Gohan a few seconds ago. The Son family was in constant danger because of the enemies Goku had made in his lifetime. It was not to say it was his fault because it was not. Enemies always wanted to prove they were stronger. She believed that Gohan and Videl would develop similar enemies in their lifetime if they had not already.

Gohan's face glowed with the compliment he has received from his mother. He really was a whole lot more mature than before. Ever since Raditz, the other saiyans and Frieza, Gohan had no choice but to get serious. It was either stay out of the way, or grow up and fight. Well, Gohan for one wasn't going to back down and hide. He knew his friends and family needed all the help they could get. That is why Gohan chose to mature himself up, to start training. From the moment his uncle Raditz landed on earth and tried destroying his father, Gohan knew their lived would forever change. No longer would they be able to live peacefully. From that point on, it was just intense training and studying for Gohan. No matter what seems to happen, no matter who they defeat, the Z fighters would always find something or someone standing in the way of peace.
This somewhat annoyed Gohan. Why couldn't there be know fighting? Why are they the ones with the capabilities to stop it and nobody else? Gohan had always thought of these whenever someone showed up threatening their lives. If they managed to harness power to destroy planets and protect the earth from almost anything, how come nobody else on earth does? What makes them so special. Again, the thought of how the universe plays it's tricks and how fate comes in all started to rush back into Gohan's mind.
His train of thought was soon interrupted by one of Roshi's remarks. Before he could finish his sentence, there seemed to be an abrupt stop for some reason. Gohan had the same question in mind as his mother did. Launch then started to scream, but again, was stopped all of a sudden. Something bad was going on out there, Gohan could feel it. His mother, being the curious person that she was, slowly walked over to the window to catch a peek of it all.
Gohan too, being curious walked closely behind his mother. As they approached the window, Gohan tried sensing out master Roshi's powerlevel. For an odd reason, Gohan found it hard to make out the old man's energy.
The ground began to shake. It seemed like an earthquake, but something about it felt strange. Gohan had instincts just like his mother and father. They could always tell when trouble was near. It was like a sixth sense for them. Gohan knew that this was no ordinary earthquake. It had to be caused by someone....someone responsible for Roshi's almost fully depleted powerlevel. Gohan too, managed to find his balance whilst making his way over to the window. It was time to see what was really going on.

Explosions sounded outside were making it hard for Chichi to concentrate. Her head started to pound from all the drama that was happening. To keep herself still, she held onto a couch. The shaking was starting to make her nauseaus. The more she wanted to keep herself calm the more her body rejected it. Whoever was causing the problem, had no energy level. She tried to sense it, but there was nothing. Whoever was attacking was not from this planet or not human.
"Gohan..." Her eyes closed because the earthquake was causing her to feel extremely tired and weakened. The symptoms of pregnancy had caused her to feel that way. As much as she tried to fight it, she could no longer fight the needs of her body. She gave into her symptoms and collapsed onto the couch. She was out cold for now. This was the problem she was talking about. Gohan did not understand the danger she put on the family with her symptoms. It was unfamiliar territory for her family and her.
[Chichi exit for awhile]

attire: i34.photobucket.com/albums/d133/AngelicsenPadme/Others/zw.pngZaza's mind could never forget what had happened her recently between a green bug and a small boy. It took her some healing, but now she was at full power again. She made sure she would get revenge for what had happened to her. No one had the right to attack her or even TOUCH her. Ever since the boy and Piccolo, she could only thing about them attacking her while wounded. She was a mercenary and had excellent tracking skills. She had been keeping track of the boy's energy signal for quite some time. She even sensed one as strong as the little boy's, but that was no problem to her. Recently, she had been watching, jotting down notes. The woman that Gohan was sparring was someone very important to her. Not only was she important, but she was weakened. What was the best part of attacking the little boy at this island was she could attack people that were close to him. He needed to feel the anger/hatred she felt when he touched her as did Piccolo. They caused her to feel injured and pain. Something she never deserved to feel. {Now it's my turn to cause you shame and embarrassment.} Three people on Earth had already done that to her even the pathetic human called Yamcha. As Master Roshi and Launch were outside, she had done her famous hellzone grenade technique. A bunch of purple energy blasts had surrounded the house and were what was causing the earthquakes. The blasts would slam onto the ground near Master Roshi and Launch. She did not kill them, but she wanted to show her authority/power.

As he expected, someone has taken out both Roshi and Launch. But the question was, who. Gohan didn't sense anything out there. It was almost as if the attacker did all that and then just vanished. Gohan was almost in a panic, what if the attacker returned and harmed his mother. That reminded him, Gohan turned around to check on his mother. It seemed she had passed out from all the stress and being tired. Gohan too was feeling a bit tired, but the sound of another explosion close by fully awoke him. Not wasting any time, Gohan jumped out the window, shattering the class into many pieces. As he floated mid air beside the house, he noticed a mass amount of purple ki blasts surrounding the island. Gohan had no time to waste. As the ki blasts started to draw closer to the house, Gohan jumped into action. His mind was set on protecting the house. He couldn't risk the life of his mother and his soon to be baby brother.
Kicking and punching ki blasts away from the house, they all scattered, some hitting just outside the house, while others went of into the ocean. Feint explosions could be heard from when a blast went of deep under water. Whoever had done this, definitely had the intention to hurt him and his mother. Once clearing the area of any incoming blasts, Gohan noticed a figure in the distance. What surprised him is that he had seen this person before...it was the same woman he ran into with Piccolo. She was terrorizing a city just so she could have her fun with the both of them. Hurting people was just a game to her, and this is what made Gohan angry.
"What do you want?!" Gohan shouted, his voice reaching far and echoed. He felt nothing but hatred for this woman. So far, she has done nothing but hurt people and cause trouble. If Gohan didn't want this happening anymore, he had to end this, now.

Zaza was not the one to laugh at the horror she caused on Gohan's face. The time that she had spent studying Gohan she noticed a couple of things. For one, he was predictable about saving the planet, two he obeyed his mother, and most important of all he depended heavily on his father's assistance or Piccolo's. She did not know much about the breeding patterns of the planet. Regardless, she now knew that Gohan needed help to finish his fights.
When Gohan had come out, she stopped sending ki blasts around the island. He dared asked her what she wanted. It was simple wasn't it? She wanted revenge for what he had done to her. Now that he was all alone he had to fight her 1 vs 1. There was no turning to Piccolo or Goku for help. She also could sense his mother was out of comission so he truly was by himself
{I want to kill you. Isn't it obvious?"} Her arms folded across her chest. She could not help but smile. Even if she was unable to finish him, which she was certain she would, she wanted him to feel as much pain as possible. She wanted him to understand that perfection like her rarely came.
{It's pay back you little twerp. Looks like you are all alone with no green, nasty bug hanging by your side. You can't finish anything by yourself can you? This is going to be so easy I wont even break a sweat. Just like you attacked me while I was hurt..I am gonig to attack you while you are weak.} There was another reason why Zaza had chosen this time to show herself. She had seen the sparring between Gohan and Chichi. She knew Gohan was not 100%. It would be easier for her to destroy him.
