Wow that'd be great. I have all of them for ps2 so it'd be fun to have them for ps3. I'd Pike to see how they upgrade the graphics.

I have them all for PS2 but if they added some sort of WiFi capability and the upgraded graphics are decent I'll definitely get it for the Xbox

OMG, this is epic. More reason to maybe get a PS3 later (I'm a Sony fanboy), this along with Kingdom Hearts 3 =D
I too had all the Budokai/Tenkaichi games for PS2, bought them whenever they came out yearly. I still play them from time to time for fun, but online play plus awesome graphics, can't wait.
I'm excited to see how they'd HD the Budokai 1 cut scenes (they were epic). I don't see why they skipped Budokai 2, they had the best what if things =/. And hopefully they'd make B3 & BT3's story mode better this time round.
And I also heard about BT4 or something, which is supposed to have the largest character roster to date lol.

Well if they are making BT4 that'd be epic as well. I'd be more excited for that. I mean if they have Chichi as a fighter (hopefully teen this time), I'm all in haha. Out of all the games, Budokai 1, 3, and Tenkaichi 3 were my favorites.

I loved these games, but lost my PS2 in the move. I definitely may pick this up. The only Budokai game I really liked was 3, although the second one wasn't terrible.

I personally liked 1 and 3 better than 2. 1 had the whole Cinematic mission feel but it kinda felt short because of the lack of story and characters available. 3 had a really huge story and open world exploration with a huge cast of characters, at the time anyway. Budokai 2 was kinda strange with the whole board game type gameplay but it did have some great what if characters xD |

Budokai 2 was the worst. I had no idea why they thought making dbz into a board game would be interesting or fun. Budokai 3 was miles above Budokai 2 with the simple fact that you actually felt like a fighter in the DBZ world. The characters flew around the map. I also had an easy time finding the dragonballs. It seemed realistic imo.

For me, the appeal of the second Budokai came from the what-if characters. I wish to this very day to play as Tiencha in another DBZ game. Once I beat the story mode though, I never went back. I dropped that game as soon as Budokai 3 came out.

The only upside about the board game style was like the variety of what ifs you can do, and like unlocking things by doing canon events (Krillin dying to get SSJ Goku for example), and doing things that made no difference (killing Super Buu with Gohan until he dies, then he just skips to turning into Kid Buu lol), man good times... I wish I didn't lose the disk.
But IKR? Damn it I want Tiencha, Gokule and Vegeta/Tiencha-Buu in HD, they could include it in the B3 re release but I doubt it, also those cool alts would be nice too, like Kuriza. Those battles on Babidi's ship was fun too...

This is too epic. Its been AGES since I played the Budokai series, and I've been itching to hook up my old PS2 just to play Budokai 3 again. This couldn't have come at a better time imo
Budokai 3 sucked up so much of my time...But I wasn't really good enough to master any good comboes >.> I'm looking forwards to really getting to master the game this time!
