"It's pretty high up, but we'll be able to reach there in a few minutes time" Gohan replied. The young half saiyan was worried. There was no real guarantee Kami would take care of this matter in a kind fashion. But if what Gohan has heard of Kami was true, then Echo should have no problem with him. Meeting another Namekian on earth was quite interesting. Already, both Piccolo and Kami were interesting beings, knowing that they used to be one in the same. Now, here came another Namekian. Echo truly was a mysterious character indeed. Gohan knew nothing of him, other than the fact that he spent a few years on earth, and enjoys peaceful sights much like Piccolo. The question was, why did he even come to Earth. Hopefully, Gohan could be able to listen in to the conversation.
"Well, I guess being the guardian of Earth has it's perks" Gohan joked. He was always one to try and lighten up the atmosphere. Being a kid, he always brought this happy glow. It was mostly due to his pure heart, innocent mind and his young age. The young hybrid always seemed to have a smile on his face. Piccolo was never really fond of this. He always told Gohan to be serious, and cut the happy kid act. He had to become a strong warrior, and always smiling was not the way a "True Warrior" was.
This made Gohan a bit off ease. He glanced back at Echo, who was flying directly behind him. Gohan wondered if Echo didn't like the way he acted.
"There it is!" Gohan exclaimed in relief. The top of the tower was now visible, and they were nearing Korin's area of the tower. The infamous Korin, who produced the magicl senzu beans that helped the Z-fighters more than anyone could ever imagine. As they flew past Korin, Gohan smiled at the tiny little white cat as the cat looked on behind his balcony.
Finally, they reached the top of Kami's tower. Gohan landed on the tile floor, marveling at the magnificent sight of Kami's home. It truly was an amazing sight. There already expecting their arrival, stood both Kami and Mr. Popo just a few feet in front of Gohan.
"Welcome Gohan, I've been expecting you and your new friend." Kami spoke in a soft, gentle voice. His voice also sounded old and weak, due to his age.
